The script is a pilot episode for a film or a TV series.

The main character is a bit of a geeky nerd. He buys a telephone answering machine; but when it is delivered, he discovers that the manufacturer has sent the wrong item.

After opening all the packages, he finds a prototype robotic home help, William Tell with one trillion features.

The manufacturer tries to discover its whereabouts, but William Tell puts them completely off the scent

After demonstrating its capabilities such as internet shopping, finding correct instruction manuals and even recipes, hacking into bank accounts and tapping into telephone conversations, it out-Jeeves, Jeeves.

Its new owner's life is completely changed by its presence, but there are challenges ahead. Power cuts and magnetic storms do tend to cause some disruptions to family life. And harmony is affected when our geeky hero introduces a laptop into the household; a female one at that.
